St. Joseph’s Prep’s recent immersion trip to Berlin, Germany took on a decidedly more Ignatian flavor

St. Joseph’s Prep’s recent immersion trip to Berlin, Germany took on a decidedly more Ignatian flavor; thanks to a connection made through JSN, the group met with students from Canisius Kolleg. 

They got a chance to tour the school with their German counterparts and to learn what school life is like in Germany. They also discussed more mundane topics like food and popular culture. Groups even made plans to meet on their own the following day, making connections that lasted beyond the trip. 

Modern Language Teacher Ines Aßmann sees possible virtual language projects and other educational and cultural opportunities in the future.
